I had purchased my Roomba with my American Express, and I vaguely remembered the American Express (Amex) offered some form of warranty protection.  I racked my brain trying to remember what kind of protection they provided.  Why rack my brain or spend time thinking, when I have easy access to the internet?

I jumped on the American Express website, and confirmed they did.  I clicked around and learned that Amex doubles the warranty of purchased products.  Granted they do not double everything, and there are realistic limits to the length of the warranty, but overall it is very impressive.

My Roomba had come with a one  year warranty, and it had been 18 months from my purchase, so I should be good.  I called the warranty center's number listed on the website and began to file my claim.
