If you are not familiar with Roomba, you should be, because they are amazing.  Roomba is an autonomous robot vacuum manufactured by IRobot.  Its job, its mission, its reason for being, is to vacuum.  Its goal is to clean up the messes that humans create, and it does an incredible job at it for its stout size. 

The Roomba is about 13 inches across and and 4 inches high, that is 1593 cubic inches of intelligent vacuuming robot. 

My 1593 cubic inches had run faithfully twice a week for 18 months.  That's over 156 individual adventures in vacuuming.  Each foray into vacuuming averaged about 1.5 hours, for a total of over 234 hours of mechanical efficient cleaning.  The price per vacuum is excellent!
